Each sport in the BC Games will conclude its competition with an official medal presentation ceremony.  The medals, which are customized for each Games, are always presented in the following order:  Bronze, Silver, Gold.    

In December 2011, the newly designed medals were unveiled. The medals were redesigned in collaboration with Kerr’s Recognition Services. The new medals are a unique modern design and are customized on the back with the name of community and the year of the Games.  The new medals were first presented at the 2012 BC Winter Games.

At the BC Summer Games over 120 medal presentation ceremonies are held, awarding over 600 of each medal.  At the BC Winter Games as many as 400 of each medal were awarded at more than 100 presentation ceremonies.  

Each medalist also receives a commemorative pin that matches their medal. 

The medals and pins are true keepsakes for the medal winners.
