The Terrace 2010 BC Winter Games will host as many as 1,600 participants in March 2010. A biennial celebration of winter and of sport, these Games are four-day competitive opportunity for BC's best young athletes as they further their development as athletes and provide them with a Games experience before they attend higher levels of competition.

British Columbia is known for its winters and its winter sports and the BC Winter Games give young, developing athletes the chance to deal with the excitement, triumphs and defeats of participating in a major multi-sport event. Many of the athletes representing their province at the Canada Winter Games honed their abilities at the BC Winter Games.
