The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is a national, private, not-for-profit organization that is committed to sport excellence, helping Canadian athletes achieve podium success, and advancing the Olympic movement in Canada.The COC is responsible for all aspects of Canada’s involvement in the Olympic and Pan American Games, including the management of a variety of programs that promote the Olympic Movement in Canada through community, cultural and educational means.
As a major supporter of high performance sport in Canada, the COC provides significant financial and program support to athletes, coaches, National Sport Federations and Canadian Sport Centres. Funding support is allocated through the Canadian Olympic Excellence Fund, launched in 2003 as the COC’s main source of funding. The COC also advocates on behalf of athletes, coaches and the high performance sport community for increased funding and support from all levels of government and corporate Canada.

2010 Legacies Now is a not-for-profit society that works in partnership with community organizations, non-government organizations (NGOs), the private sector and all levels of government to develop sustainable legacies in sport & recreation, arts, literacy, and volunteerism. 2010 Legacies Now actively assists communities discover and create unique and inclusive social and economic opportunities leading up to, during and beyond the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Aboriginal Sports and Recreation Association of BC (ASRA) is a multi-sport umbrella organization providing leadership, guidance and support to the Aboriginal people of British Columbia through opportunities in sport, physical activities and recreation.
Our goal is to strengthen and encourage the physical, mental, cultural, emotional and spiritual aspects of community and individual life by creating opportunities for success at every level. We support the incredible effort of Aboriginal athletes to compete, endure and excel by:
- recognizing and encouraging the pursuit of excellence and achievement in sport that cultivates a healthy, addiction-free, active lifestyle
- advocating for access and equal opportunity in sport, physical activities and recreation
- offering opportunities for personal and professional leadership development for the delivery of sport, physical activities and recreation programs.

The BC Disability Games Society is one of the lead organizations in promoting the awareness of sport, recreation and physical education needs of British Columbians with disabilities. In partnership with the BC Games Society and a Host Community, BC Disability Sports runs the annual BC Disability Games, a multi-sport competition that promotes and encourages physical activity and individual achievement.
BC Disability Sports is a not-for-profit organization supported by donors, sponsors and many volunteers.

The BC Games Society is responsible for staging the BC Summer and BC Winter Games, British Columbia's largest multi-sport events. The BC Summer and BC Winter Games are an integral part of the BC sport delivery system, developing athletes, coaches, and officials for higher-level competitions.
By providing event management services and support to BC Summer and BC Winter Games, BC Seniors Games, Northern BC Winter Games, and BC Disability Games host communities, the BC Games Society contributes to the development of volunteers and communities.
The BC Games Society is funded by the provincial government and through corporate partnerships.
Four Games are held in every fiscal year, bringing together over 6000 volunteers and 7000 participants.

The Canadian Sport Centre Pacific / PacificSport is the lead non-governmental organization responsible for the delivery of Sport Performance programs in the Province of British Columbia.
The Canadian Sport Centre Pacific, in partnership with the network of PacificSport Centres (Fraser Valley, Interior BC, Okanagan, Northern BC, Sea to Sky, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and Victoria), delivers sport performance programs to help athletes and coaches win medals for Canada. Working in support of our national and provincial sport partners, the Canadian Sport Centre Pacific is creating a stronger system for the development of athletes, coaches, performance enhancement teams and sport performance facilities.

Sport BC is a non-profit society founded in 1966. The members include over 80 provincial sport and sport-related organizations, representing over 840,000 British Columbians as athletes, coaches, officials, sport management volunteers and staff. As the federation for amateur sport organizations, Sport BC provides leadership, direction and support to foster the growth and development of amateur sport in British Columbia.
Sport BC advocates a collective position for amateur sport in British Columbia on key cross-sport issues and provides management services to enhance the effectiveness and growth of affiliated sport organizations.
