40th Anniversary Celebrations
The BC Games Society was created by former premier Bill Bennett who believed in providing “an opportunity to bring all parts of BC together, large and small communities, in the spirit of sport and friendship”.  Since 1978, the BC Winter and BC Summer Games have been held in 38 communities an involved over 350,000 participants and volunteers.

2018 marks the 40th anniversary of the BC Games.  It is an important opportunity to remember the past, to recognize successes and contributors, and to renew friendships and commitment of the importance of the BC Games for our province.

To celebrate this milestone, past participants, volunteers, and supporters are invited to join us at community celebrations to be held in six past BC Games host communities.
