BC Games alumnae Georgia Ellenwood (2010 BC Summer Games) finished her high school track and field career as one of the sport’s most decorated athletes.

For an unprecedented fourth consecutive year, Ellenwood won the heptathlon with a record setting 5296 points.  She followed that up with gold medals in long jump and the 100m and a silver medal in the high jump.

Ellenwood is bound for the University of Wisconsin on a full-ride scholarship starting in September and will join one of the top programs in the NCAA.

A triple gold medalist at the 2010 BC Summer Games, Ellenwood was also recognized with the W.R. Bennett Award and the BC Games Society has been proud to support and follow her achievements.  She is featured in a recently released BC Games video, Unleash Your Potential, where her youthful enthusiasm will inspire future generations of BC’s best young developing athletes.
