Casandra Lashmar, 16, of Pitt Meadows (Zone 3) won the silver medal of today’s BC Games jumping competition.
After a completing a clear round of a challenging course, Lashmar is pleased with her results.
“I really got in the zone today,” she said.

Lashmar has been riding since she was just seven years old, and lives in Pitt Meadows. She has ridden her Warmblood, Big Sky, for only a year before competing in the Games.
When asked how she prepared for the Games, Lashmar said she had weekly lessons with a coach along with her own practice.

Lashmar is eager to compete tomorrow and hopes to win another medal. She plans on ending the summer show season at Thunderbird Show Park in August.
