Trick Skiing at 2014 BC Summer Games

More gold medals are on their ways to the Thompson-Okanagan (Zone 2) and Vancouver-Squamish (Zone 5) thanks to their athletes efforts in the boys trick skiing 2 and the girls trick skiing 2.

Thompson-Okanagan's Marcus Athans took home the gold for the boys, while Vancouver-Squamish's Marley Harman took home the gold for the girls.

Athans placed first in boys 2 trick water skiing with 810 points, while Harman got her gold in the girls 2 by scoring 160 points.

Harman was the only girl that medaled.

Vancouver Island-Central Coast (Zone 6) added another silver medal thanks to Jake Metcalf. Metcalf scored 660 points.

The Vancouver-Squamish area also earned another medal in the sport with Hunter Smith winning bronze. Smith had a solid 640 points.

Girls and Boys 2 is open to ages 10-13.

The gold medals were presented by Liam Phillips, who is a coach of the BC development team.
