Another Towed Water Sport medal will be on its way to the Fraser Valley (Zone 3), thanks to Alexa Durand, who scored a 58.5 to give her the gold in girls 3 Slalom water skiing.

It was Kyle Fedrickson who won gold in the boy’s event to take back to the Thompson-Okanagan (Zone 2), as he scored an 80.00.

In second place for the boys was Conley Pinette from the Cariboo-North East (Zone 8). His score of 74.5 was good enough to get him the silver medal. The bronze went to Thomas Mastromanaco from the Fraser Valley (Zone 3), as he scored 69.00 points.

For the girls, it was Vancouver Island-Central Coast (Zone 6) that took home both the silver and bronze medals.

Patricia Horwood had 52.00 points to capture the silver medal, while Kristen Leech had 50.50, which was good enough for the bronze medal.

It is the second time that Durand, Horwood, and Leech were the top 3 girls in an event.
