There was a clear winner on Saturday in boys 3 trick water skiing.
Cariboo-North East's (Zone 8) Conley Pinette stole the show at Quamichan Lake in Duncan, as he completed his run the entire crowd went silent in awe. He earned a gold medal with 5800 points. Different tricks have different point values.

If the skier does it on only one ski it is worth double amount of points. Points are also based off of execution of the tricks. “He is on a whole other level” Chris Rathy, the BC summer games Towed Water Sport chair said.

In second place was Desman Perry from Thompson-Okanagan (Zone 2) with 2110. Sam Maj earned bronze for the Fraser Valley (Zone 3) as he scored 1040 points. Kristen Leech of Vancouver Island-Central Coast (Zone 6) had 900 points to win gold on the girls’ side of the competition. The Fraser Valley’s (Zone 3) Alexa Durand placed second with 540 points. With 320 was Vancouver Island-Central Coast’s Patricia Horewood.
