Kamloops, BC – Canada’s Tournament Capital has assembled a group of community leaders to develop the vision and policies for the 2018 BC Winter Games. The BC Winter Games are a multifaceted celebration of sport and community; the planning process is integral to the overall provincial success of the entire event. 

“Our Board of Directors have the leadership and experience to create an outstanding  Games for the 2,150 planned participants,” Niki Remesz, 2018 BC Winter Games President explains. “Our Directors are skilled leaders who have stepped up to volunteer their time to create an outstanding experience. We will be leading a team that will organize and deliver on 14 different, but interconnected, aspects of the event.”

“Kamloops hosted the first BC Winter Games in 1979, and after 40 years of BC Games we are proud to welcome back this provincial multi-sport event that develops BC’s high preforming athletes. For many of them we are providing their first multi-sport games opportunity,” Remesz says.
