December 2016

2016 has been a tremendous year of success and we want to thank the thousands of participants, volunteers, and supporters who were part of the 2016 BC Winter and BC Summer Games.

Happy Holidays and best wishes for an active New Year filled with exceptional experiences!

2016 Year in Review

2016 YIR

The 2016 Year in Review highlights our vision to inspire exceptional experiences through sport.  See the Faces of the Games and read through the stories of a few of the athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers who were part of the 2016 BC Winter and BC Summer Games.

Whether on the field of play as a competitor, or behind the scenes as an eager volunteer, the stories remain the same...'the Games inspire.'

Gift of Sport

Gift of Sport

The BC Games Society staff work daily with volunteers around the province.  As volunteers ourselves at a variety of community based programs, we truly believe and understand the importance of contributing our time and expertise.

One of our favorite organizations is KidSport, and our staff were pleased to make a financial contribution to KidSport Greater Victoria to support the "Give the Gift of Sport" campaign.

You can support a KidSport Chapter in your community and ensure a child has the opportunity to play a season of sport.
